Set in stunning open countryside, the venue is all about flexibility, uniqueness and exclusivity, allowing teams to step out of their normal environment, and into a space where they can relax, strategize, learn and celebrate!

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, at Eastfields Farm Barns you step into the  glorious Bedfordshire countryside. Just 20 minutes north of Bedford, and conveniently located for both the A1 and M1 trunk roads, London and Birmingham airports, and mainline fast rail services from London to Bedford and St Neots.

As you approach down an impressive tree lined drive, the venue sits back from the road in 30 acres of beautiful open countryside.

The venue boasts:

  • A huge Georgian barn which acts as a flexible function venue. Seating with tables, bar, stage, AV equipment – make the space ideal for presentations, indoor activities and celebrating!
  • A raised lawn with a further 10acre meadow and woodland, and bridle paths into the rolling countryside, allows for great outdoor team building activities.
  • Luxury converted barn accommodation with ensuite facilities, for up to 14 guests.
  • Breakfast, lunch, evening meals and a private chef available.
  • Management team with both large corporate and adventure expedition background to help tailor your events.
  • We are able to cater for events of up to 140 people.

Our Experience - Making your event a success

Scott McNaughton, owner of Eastfields Farm Barns, loves adventure and understands business. He has previously summitted a number of the World’s Seven Summits including Mount Everest (2006), rowed unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean (2008), and skied across the Greenland Icecap (2010). He was also a senior partner in one of the world’s large accounting firms, specialising in large private and FTSE businesses.

Scott will take time to meet with you ahead of your event to help plan and prepare a fantastic day that delivers on your objectives. He will be supported by the wider Eastfields Farm Barns team during your event to ensure things run safely and smoothly.

Our luxury accommodation is set across 3 converted barn cottages all situated next to each other with large social spaces to meet and hold meetings. We can accommodate up to 14 guests.

All our accommodation is set in vaulted ceiling barn conversions. Each offers double/twin rooms with ensuite facilities including luxury bedding and towels – and large kitchen diners that allow for a truly relaxed and laidback atmosphere.

We can provide breakfast, lunch, evening meal and private chef arrangements – along with fun wine tasting and motivational talk events.

Located close to A1 and M1 truck roads – around 90 mins drive from both London and Birmingham. Parking on site.


At Eastfields Farm Barns we look to make hosting your event here super easy. Just contact us and we will take the time to understand what you are trying to achieve and we will put together a plan tailored to you and your team. We have included a few examples of the kinds of things that we can do, but we would always look to tailor our event to your needs.
Although our venue is located in the countryside, we are very well connected for visitors. For car drivers, both the A1 and M1 are nearby and we have parking on site. We are also close to rail links in Bedford and St Neots and Milton Keynes and we can arrange minibus or Taxi transit for those arriving by rail. We are also close to a number of international airports including Birmingham International, London Luton, London Heathrow, London Stansted and we can also help arrange Taxi transit to the venue.
We can provide refreshments throughout the day, breakfast, lunch and evening meal, packages and even private chef services. For large events we can do things as simple as pizza, ovens and barbecues, and for those wanting a more formal setting we can host seated five course meals. We work with a number of great catering partners to deliver menus that are flexible and delicious.

A visit to Eastfields Farm Barns is a great opportunity for you and your teams to celebrate your success. We can host evening events as simple as a barbecue with bar and local live Band/DJ, through to a formal sit down table service five course meal, entertainment (magician, photobooth, presentation), live band/DJ and both indoor and outdoor fully stocked bars.

We tailor all our teambuilding events to the nature of the party visiting the venue. Great team building events include a local treasure hunt with team challenges thrown in, survival training in the woodland, wine tasting experience, we’ve have even had bouncy castle assault courses!

At the premium end, we can draw upon the experience of our management team to create truly exhilarating events – the Three Peaks Challenge?, Helicopter to the Peak District?, Race Track day? If you can dream it, we’ll consider it!

Our luxury barn conversion cottages, can host up to 14 people – and its exclusively your space. It’s ideal for SME’s and corporate boards looking for some strategic thinking time away from the normal work environment. Please see C suite retreat, example.
Much of the venue has step free access including the large Georgian Barn and the larger converted barn cottages. In particular, the 5-bed cottage has drive-up parking, widened door access and easy entry shower facilities.
